Bell Captain

About the role

The Bell Captain leads the bell team in delivering exceptional guest service at a Hilton hotel. This supervisory role ensures smooth luggage handling, guest greetings, and overall bell desk operations while supporting the hotel's financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and escort arriving and departing guests to and from their rooms.
• Retrieve, transport, organize, and store guest luggage according to hotel guidelines.
• Inspect guest rooms and introduce guests to room features.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests with a friendly, efficient approach.
• Supervise, schedule, coach, evaluate, and recognize bell team members.
• Recruit, interview, and train new team members.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing, policies, and local attractions.
• Assist in the upkeep and functionality of bell desk equipment.

Required profile

• Previous customer service experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• Ability to listen to and address demanding guest needs.
• Accountable, resilient, and able to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying work situations.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
