Civil Inspector (Marine and Ports)

About the role

Egis Group is seeking an experienced Civil Inspector to join its port project in Kuwait. The role is essential for ensuring that all civil works are executed to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate daily with the contractor, supervision team, and discipline engineers to ensure smooth site progress.
• Verify that construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and HSE requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, equipment, and construction sequences to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, test results, and site diaries, and contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.

Required profile

• University degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably on port projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods and sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and capable of identifying risks and non‑compliances early.
