Configuration and Maintenance Program Engineer

About the role

The Configuration and Maintenance Program Engineer will monitor and control the configuration of Jazeera Airways' fleet, ensuring that all engineering documents, airworthiness directives (AD) and service bulletins (SB) are accurately reflected in the airline's Engineering Computer System. The role supports safe and compliant aircraft operations by managing component tracking, configuration data, and ERP system functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor component tracking and interchangeability in the company’s computer system, coordinating with Technical Services.
• Review and embody AD/SB compliance, entering data into the Engineering Computer System and reporting to OEMs.
• Define, build and maintain the aircraft configuration tree for new aircraft, landing gear, engines and APU.
• Create new part numbers and sub‑assemblies as required.
• Provide technical assistance to fleet management, aircraft records and business units on ERP functionality.
• Maintain ERP history files, backup processes and system customisations.
• Support safety performance by complying with safety and security regulations and reporting hazards.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or any related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of aviation experience in configuration or maintenance program roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of aircraft types, operational procedures and EASA Part M regulations.
