Senior Principal Customer Enablement Specialist – Petrophysicist

About the role

As a Senior Principal Customer Enablement Specialist – Petrophysicist, you will act as a trusted advisor for a strategic Middle‑East customer, delivering on‑site support for AspenTech’s proprietary Formation Evaluation and Characterization software. You will ensure high‑quality well‑log data management and drive advanced petrophysical workflows that add long‑term value for the client and AspenTech.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑time on‑site customer support for well‑log data management projects.
• Oversee the quality, consistency, and technical accuracy of field, processed, and interpreted well‑log data.
• Manage petrophysical aspects of projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with objectives.
• Validate and normalize field‑wide petrophysical data and generate final composite logs and LAS files.
• Apply the latest technology and efficient workflows to petrophysical processes, including Total Organic Carbon (TOC) estimation.
• Troubleshoot technical and petrophysical data issues using AspenTech software.
• Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and customers.
• Maintain contractual obligations, flag potential gaps, and collaborate with internal AspenTech functions to develop business opportunities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in petrophysics and well‑log data interpretation.
• Proven ability to work closely with customers as a trusted advisor.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on delivering accurate, high‑quality results.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical findings to senior stakeholders.
