Cook (Level 2) – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a Cook (Level 2) to join the culinary team at Four Seasons’ flagship hotel in Kuwait City. The successful candidate will work in a high‑end, five‑star environment, preparing and presenting dishes that meet the brand’s exacting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items following standard recipes, photographs and instructions.
• Assist the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie in developing and maintaining standard recipes.
• Monitor taste, temperature, visual appeal and portion sizes to ensure consistency.
• Maintain food quality, presentation and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen.
• Prepare room‑amenity items when required.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience as a cook in a five‑star luxury hotel or comparable establishment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Good verbal communication in English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in standard culinary techniques and food safety practices.
