Corporate Legal Counsel

About the role

The Corporate Legal Counsel will join JGulf Group in Kuwait City, providing comprehensive legal support across the Group’s diverse brands and operations. This full‑time, on‑site position involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regional regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts.
• Advise internal stakeholders on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management and cross‑border legal issues.
• Monitor relevant laws and regulations in Kuwait and other GCC jurisdictions and coordinate with external counsel as needed.
• Develop and update internal legal policies, conduct training sessions on legal and compliance matters, and contribute to strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate and commercial legal practice, preferably within travel, technology or real‑estate sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; bar admission or advanced qualifications preferred.
• Proven ability to provide clear, practical legal advice to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Contract negotiation and legal document preparation.
• Proficiency in Arabic; English language skills are beneficial.
