EMT Basic

About the role

The EMT Basic will support fire and medical emergency operations for V2X Inc in Kuwait City, responding to calls, providing on‑scene care, and ensuring safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain readiness for emergency call response and attend fire, medical, and related emergencies when dispatched.
• Assess patients, obtain basic medical history, perform physical examinations, and deliver emergency care at the scene and during transport.
• Use medical equipment to evaluate injuries or illness and communicate patient status to paramedics and the Medical Officer.
• Educate staff and the public on fire safety and prevention, and perform general fire department activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in an emergency health‑care setting and on an emergency response ambulance.
• Nationally registered EMT‑Basic with CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Ability to work shifts including days, swing and midnight hours, and lift at least 100 lb.
