EMT Paramedic – Advanced Life Support in Kuwait

About the role

The EMT Paramedic provides Advanced Life Support (ALS) emergency medical response, assessment, stabilization, treatment, and transport for personnel at Camp Buehring, K‑Crossing and the Udari Range Complex in Kuwait. This role supports 24/7 medical readiness in a remote, austere environment, ensuring rapid response to emergencies for U.S. military, contractors and civilians.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver ALS emergency medical response, trauma care, airway management, cardiac care and medication administration within authorized scope of practice.
• Operate ambulances and emergency response equipment safely, coordinate patient transfers and support MEDEVAC operations.
• Maintain emergency medical equipment, supplies and vehicle readiness, and document patient care activities according to EMS standards.
• Participate in mass casualty planning, emergency preparedness exercises and contingency medical operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Paramedic program.
• Minimum two years recent experience as a Paramedic, preferably in remote or military environments.
• Current NREMT Paramedic certification, unrestricted state or national Paramedic license, and BLS and ACLS certifications.

Required skills

• Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) proficiency.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and trauma life support knowledge (PHTLS/ITLS).
