EMT Paramedic – Advanced Life Support in Kuwait

About the role

The EMT Paramedic provides Advanced Life Support (ALS) emergency medical response, assessment, stabilization, treatment, and transport for personnel at Camp Buehring, K‑Crossing and the Udari Range Complex in Kuwait. This role supports 24/7 medical readiness in a remote, austere environment, serving U.S. military, contractors, civilians and authorized personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver ALS emergency medical response, trauma care, airway management, cardiac care and medication administration on-site and during transport.
• Operate ambulances and emergency response equipment safely, coordinate patient transfers, and support MEDEVAC operations.
• Maintain documentation of patient care, equipment readiness, and compliance with DoD, Army and V2X EMS protocols.
• Participate in mass casualty planning, emergency preparedness drills and contingency medical operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Paramedic program.
• Minimum two years recent experience as a Paramedic, preferably in emergency services, trauma care or critical care transport.
• Current NREMT Paramedic certification, unrestricted state or national license, BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work in remote, overseas, austere environments and meet all medical, security and deployment requirements.
