Entry-Level Data Analyst (Remote)

About the role

Hiredbuddy is looking for an enthusiastic, detail‑oriented Data Analyst to join its remote engineering team. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates who want hands‑on experience building and maintaining data pipelines that support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries.
• Develop Python scripts for data cleaning and transformation.
• Design and maintain data schemas and data warehouse structures.
• Implement data quality checks and document pipeline logic and lineage.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data requirements.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and basic‑to‑intermediate Python programming.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database concepts.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and command‑line tools.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
