Environmental Engineer

About the role

Archirodon is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to support a major EPC project in Kuwait. You will work closely with the Environmental and HSE managers to ensure compliance with local and international environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct environmental inspections and audits on site facilities and maintain an audit schedule.
• Maintain records required by environmental regulations and report incidents to the client within stipulated timeframes.
• Organise and evaluate emergency response drills and recommend improvements.
• Develop and deliver environmental awareness presentations for site personnel.
• Assist in preparing project‑specific environmental documents, plans and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience in core industries such as refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizers, steel or heavy chemicals, with marine experience.
• Fluency in English.
• ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor certification (preferred).
• Additional HSE trainings or certifications are an advantage.
