About the role
Bilfinger is looking for a skilled Estimation Engineer to join its oil and gas team in Al Kuwait. The role focuses on delivering accurate cost estimates and supporting project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for oil and gas projects.
- Analyze specifications and drawings to identify cost‑saving opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and procurement to gather data and evaluate supplier quotes.
- Maintain a historical cost database and adjust estimates as projects progress.
- Prepare and present estimation reports and support bid preparation.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an Estimation Engineer or similar role in the oil and gas sector.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with estimation software and tools.
