Executive Director – Registrar and Enrollment Management

About the role

The Executive Director – Registrar and Enrollment Management provides strategic leadership and executive oversight for Admissions, the Registrar’s Office, and the Scholarship & Financial Aid Office. Reporting to the President, this senior leader shapes an integrated enrollment‑management strategy that drives recruitment, access, retention, progression and successful completion while safeguarding institutional records.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enrollment‑management plan aligned with the university’s mission, capacity and long‑term goals.
• Direct admissions, applicant engagement, evaluation, decision processes and conversion to enrollment.
• Oversee registration, class scheduling, academic calendars, transfer‑credit, grade processing, degree audits, graduation clearance, transcripts and credential certification.
• Manage equitable, accurate and timely administration of scholarships and financial‑aid programs, including eligibility, awarding, communication and compliance reporting.
• Establish policies, internal controls, service standards and performance metrics across all enrollment functions.
• Advise senior leadership on enrollment trends, risks and technology priorities, and lead cross‑functional collaboration with Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Finance, IT, Institutional Research and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven executive experience in higher‑education enrollment, admissions, registrar or financial‑aid operations.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans, set performance targets and manage large, cross‑functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of accreditation standards, data‑protection regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, decision‑making and communication skills for advising senior leadership.
