Field Driller I

About the role

The Driller is responsible for ensuring that all work performed on and around the drill floor and the Blowout Preventer (BOP) is carried out safely and efficiently. Working under the direction of the Rig Manager, the Driller supports rig‑up, rig‑down and ongoing drilling operations while meeting the safety, production and budget objectives of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate work on the drill floor and BOP to maintain safe operating conditions.
• Execute rig‑up and rig‑down procedures in accordance with company standards.
• Monitor drilling operations to ensure they meet production targets and stay within budget.
• Collaborate closely with the Rig Manager and crew members to address any operational issues.
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Ability to work under the supervision of the Rig Manager.
• Strong focus on safety, production efficiency and budget adherence.
• Willingness to work in a field environment on drilling rigs.
