Field IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Field IT Support Engineer to deliver onsite technical assistance across customer locations in Kuwait. The freelance role requires strong English and local language skills and at least three years of hands‑on IT support experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 onsite support to end users at multiple customer sites.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams and application issues.
• Perform hardware installation, replacement, configuration and break/fix activities.
• Resolve basic LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP connectivity problems.
• Test network cables/ports and conduct basic switch/router troubleshooting.
• Support IMAC activities – Install, Move, Add & Change.
• Install and configure operating systems, applications, drivers and security updates.
• Handle user account, password and basic Active Directory tasks.
• Manage incidents and service requests through ITSM/ticketing tools and coordinate with remote L2/L3, network teams, vendors and service providers.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of field IT support experience.
• Freelance availability and willingness to travel between customer/branch locations.
• Fluent in English and the local Kuwaiti language.
• Ability to work onsite following client security, change‑management and ITIL procedures.
