Field Service Assistant Engineer Intern

About the role

The Field Service Assistant Engineer Intern will support Roche Diagnostics' field service team in Kuwait, gaining hands‑on experience with laboratory equipment maintenance and customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Field Service Engineers with on‑site troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of lab analyzers.
• Join senior engineers for preventive maintenance, repairs, spare‑part replacement, and instrument calibration.
• Prepare tools, spare parts, and equipment for field visits and support logistical tasks.
• Communicate with customers, collect feedback, and ensure service needs are met.
• Document service activities, prepare reports, and update maintenance tracking systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical, Electronic, Mechatronics or related field.
• Early‑career or fresh graduate, preferably with basic understanding of healthcare systems and laboratory equipment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and effective communication skills.
• Motivated to work in a hands‑on environment and support field operations.
• Proficiency in English.
