Food And Beverage Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, results‑driven Operations Manager to lead our food and beverage outlets. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on pre‑opening expertise, strong specialty‑coffee knowledge, and a proven track record in financial and team management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of one high‑volume location or multiple outlets, ensuring quality, service, cleanliness and food‑safety standards.
• Lead coffee and beverage teams, maintaining consistency in specialty‑coffee preparation, brewing methods and espresso equipment.
• Analyze P&L statements, monitor sales, gross profit, labor, food and beverage costs, and develop action plans to improve profitability.
• Control food and beverage costs through recipe costing, menu engineering, inventory audits and waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Create, document and train staff on comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and continuously update them.
• Manage pre‑opening activities: store setup, equipment installation, supplier onboarding, recruitment and operational readiness.
• Recruit, train, coach and evaluate high‑performing teams while fostering a customer‑focused culture.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and implement corrective actions to maintain exceptional service standards.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in food & beverage operations, preferably with specialty‑coffee concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead pre‑opening projects and drive operational excellence.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and P&L management.
• Proven track record of cost control, inventory management and supplier negotiation.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to develop and motivate teams.
