About the role
The Furniture Installer will ensure that all furniture items are efficiently and neatly displayed in the showroom. Reporting to the Section Head, the role involves assembling, disassembling, and maintaining showroom displays while coordinating with various teams.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble furniture items in the showroom and perform quality checks.
- Coordinate with the visual merchandising (VM) team, merchandisers, and storekeepers to display received items promptly.
- Disassemble, safely pack, and quality‑check sold pieces, working with sales managers and merchandising teams for quick removal and replacement.
- Assist storekeepers and labourers with back‑of‑house tasks when installation work is not possible.
- Handle and move products safely to minimize damage and reduce shrinkage costs.
Required profile
- Experience in furniture assembly.
- Logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
- Positive “can‑do” attitude when working under pressure.
- Results‑oriented mindset.
