About the role

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Consultant/Specialist with strong expertise in endoscopy and gastrointestinal procedures. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care and managing complex gastroenterological cases in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Develop treatment plans and provide patient follow‑up.
Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Support and guide junior medical staff when required.

Required profile

Post‑graduate qualification in Gastroenterology or a relevant specialty.
Several years of post‑graduation experience at consultant level (or specialist level).
Specialized endoscopy training or a 6‑12 month endoscopy fellowship.
GCI & GCA accreditation is mandatory.

Required skills

Endoscopy (diagnostic and therapeutic).
Upper GI endoscopy.
Colonoscopy.
