Group Internal Audit Manager

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position based in Kuwait City leads the Group Internal Audit function, overseeing risk‑based audit engagements and ensuring robust internal controls across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee internal audit activities, including planning and executing risk‑based audit engagements.
• Review financial and operational processes and assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Identify control gaps, recommend improvements, and monitor compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operational teams, providing guidance on best practices.
• Support the development of standardized audit methodologies and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate processes, identify risks, and interpret complex financial and operational data.
• Mandatory travel and tourism background.
• Solid finance and accounting knowledge to understand financial statements, transactions, and reporting requirements.
• Expertise in internal controls design, implementation, and testing.
• Experience conducting financial audits, including planning, fieldwork, documentation, and reporting of findings.
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, CIA) and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in internal audit or external audit, preferably in a group or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, high integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
