Head of Nutrition

About the role

The Head of Nutrition will lead the nutrition strategy for all food concepts, ensuring menus, products and ready‑to‑go meals meet health, quality and regulatory standards. The role supports menu planning, product development, nutrition assessment, labeling and documentation while overseeing quality assurance, food safety and shelf‑life management. By embedding sound nutritional principles, the position drives safe, reliable and innovative offerings across cafés, restaurants and packaged meal lines.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the overall nutrition direction for all food concepts.
• Ensure menus, products and ready‑to‑go meals comply with health, quality and regulatory standards.
• Lead menu planning, product development, nutrition assessments and labeling processes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and nutrition files.
• Oversee quality assurance, food safety practices and shelf‑life management for packaged and prepared foods.
• Collaborate with culinary, operations and QA teams to support new product ideas and healthier alternatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science or related field (advanced certification preferred).
• Strong knowledge of nutritional standards, dietary guidelines and nutrient analysis.
• Experience in menu planning, recipe creation and R&D for food concepts.
• Proven ability to conduct nutrition assessments, manage labeling and maintain documentation.
• Background in quality control systems, product evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Experience with shelf‑life testing and documentation for packaged or prepared foods.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Valid transferable Kuwait visa.
