About the role
Amentum is seeking qualified Hindi linguists to support U.S. military operations in Kuwait. The role involves providing language services and cultural insight to senior leadership as part of CENTCOM missions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational contract linguist support for military operations, including interpretation during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
- Transcribe and analyze verbal communications and foreign language documents for key information.
- Deliver translation and interpretation services for Hindi, including triage, gisting, and summarizing.
Required profile
- U.S. citizen with a current passport and an active Secret clearance.
- ILR proficiency level 3 in Hindi and level 2+ in English (oral and written).
- Willingness to work in Kuwait, including shifts and extended hours for 24/7 operations.
- Familiarity with local culture and ability to undergo a medical examination.
