About the role
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards. Working under the guidance of supervisors, the role ensures guest satisfaction through meticulous cleaning and timely service.
Key responsibilities
- Collect keys and daily assignments, prepare trolley and equipment for efficient task performance.
- Clean and replenish guest rooms and bathrooms, adhering to hotel Standards of Performance.
- Arrange and tidy guest belongings while cleaning.
- Coordinate with Valet Service for guest laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing.
- Clean guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas to maintain a professional appearance.
- Report maintenance issues to the Engineering Department.
- Consider guest needs in public areas and rooms, ensuring courtesy and satisfaction.
- Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in line with organizational policies.
