Insurance Navigation Officer

About the role

The Insurance Navigation Officer is a full‑time, on‑site position in Dubai responsible for managing the complete insurance lifecycle for patient treatments. You will work closely with clinical and revenue‑cycle teams to ensure accurate documentation, timely claim submissions, and swift resolution of insurance issues.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and webinars to train healthcare providers and RCM staff on submission protocols.
• Review clinical documentation, including ICD‑10 codes and lab results, against insurance checklists before submission.
• Obtain digital consent and keep patients informed about insurer responses.
• Track prior‑authorisation status, following up with physicians and insurers every two days.
• Analyse rejection codes, prepare medical‑necessity appeals, and manage escalations via the iPROMeS platform.
• Maintain a monthly dashboard reporting rejection patterns, approval rates, and physician engagement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, pharmacovigilance reporting and program SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy or Allied Health.
• 1‑2 years experience in medical insurance claims and rejection management.
• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Patient‑centred, self‑starter with high attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and support new program additions.
