IT Business Partner

About the role

The IT Business Partner acts as the strategic bridge between the IT function and business units, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business objectives. You will lead the digitisation of core processes, manage vendor relationships, and oversee project delivery to drive efficiency and value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic IT plans in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Research emerging technologies and introduce industry best practices.
• Prepare and manage the IT budget aligned with business priorities.
• Lead project management activities to meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets.
• Oversee external vendor contracts, SLAs, and payments.
• Coordinate incident, service request, and change management with the IT team.
• Digitise business processes, reduce manual effort, and improve Master Data Management.
• Ensure role‑based access and authorisation standards are upheld.
• Facilitate IT steering committee meetings, cost reviews, and escalation handling.
• Implement IT policies, ensure audit compliance, and manage software licence compliance.
• Organise user training and support change‑request lifecycle from BRD to UAT.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• Proven experience delivering and managing complex IT projects.
• Strong stakeholder‑relationship management skills.
• Experience overseeing end‑to‑end IT delivery, including application support.
• Track record managing implementation partners (fixed‑price and T&M) with minimal change requests.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into IT solutions.
