IT Business Partner – Supply Chain

About the role

The IT Business Partner (Supply Chain) serves as the strategic bridge between the Supply Chain unit and the IT organisation, ensuring technology solutions drive operational excellence, cost efficiency and customer satisfaction across warehousing, logistics, demand planning and fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary IT liaison for Supply Chain leadership, translating business strategy into IT roadmaps and initiatives.
• Partner with architects, project managers and AMS teams to deliver scalable warehouse automation, logistics and inventory visibility solutions.
• Prioritise and manage the Supply Chain IT portfolio, overseeing integration of ERP, WMS, TMS and related platforms.
• Identify digital opportunities such as automation, AI/ML forecasting and IoT to optimise processes.
• Establish KPIs for IT service delivery, ensure governance, cybersecurity compliance and support budgeting.
• Build trusted relationships with Supply Chain heads, distribution centre managers and logistics partners, communicating status, risks and impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10‑15 years of IT experience in retail, eCommerce, FMCG or logistics environments.
• Proven track record delivering ERP, TMS and WMS solutions, including at least one end‑to‑end WMS implementation (preferably SAP).
• Experience managing multi‑country or regional retail operations is a plus.
