Junior Accountant – Immediate Hire

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Ahmadi. The role supports daily financial operations, maintains accurate records, and assists in the preparation of reports.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial entries.
• Prepare and post routine journal entries.
• Support accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment follow‑ups.
• Perform basic account reconciliations and report discrepancies.
• Assist with expense monitoring, payroll inputs, and other financial transactions.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Help prepare financial reports and schedules.
• Maintain accounting records in ERP systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in Kuwait.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good communication skills.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (Sage preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
