Junior Lawyer (Registered in Kuwait)

About the role

Saleem Legal Group, a Kuwait-based law firm focused on capital markets, corporate and private wealth matters, is hiring a full-time, on-site Junior Lawyer registered in Kuwait. The role is based in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area and supports senior lawyers in research and drafting of legal opinions, memoranda and contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Research and draft legal opinions, memoranda and contracts across capital markets, corporate and private wealth matters
• Review and summarise legal documents and assist with due diligence
• Prepare filings and documentation for regulatory and court submissions
• Help with company incorporation and restructuring work
• Communicate with clients under supervision, prepare meeting notes and maintain case and transaction files
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliance with Kuwaiti laws and regulations
• Assist in monitoring regulatory developments, updating internal templates and improving firm processes

Required profile

• Registered lawyer in Kuwait with a valid local licence and the Kuwaiti Bar Association badge
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); additional legal or financial qualifications are an advantage
• Experience or demonstrated interest in capital markets, corporate law and private wealth / family business matters
• Applicants applying as offshore lawyers will be rejected; only Kuwaiti bar-registered lawyers are considered
