Kitchen Helper – Assist Daily Kitchen Operations

About the role

SOGO is seeking a Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen and food preparation activities in Kuwait City. The role involves assisting the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, organization, and general operations in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Support organization of kitchen inventory, receiving deliveries and storing items appropriately.
• Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision, such as assembling dishes and plating.
• Ensure compliance with safety and food‑handling standards in a busy kitchen.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food‑service setting (preferred but not mandatory).
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation processes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen and follow instructions.
• Residency in Kuwait and availability for either part‑time or full‑time schedules.
