Lead Analyst – Fraud Management (Telecom)

About the role

Subex is seeking a seasoned telecom fraud expert to lead its Fraud Management team within Revenue Assurance. The role focuses on protecting global telecom operators from sophisticated fraud schemes while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end fraud operations for global telecom clients.
• Design, implement and continuously optimise fraud detection rules and strategies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing stakeholders and escalations.
• Mentor and supervise a team of fraud analysts.
• Conduct governance calls and deliver executive‑level presentations.
• Collaborate with Revenue Assurance, IT, Network and Product teams to ensure holistic fraud mitigation.

Required profile

• 10+ years of deep telecom fraud experience covering IRSF, Wangiri, SIM box, SMS, roaming and subscription fraud.
• Proven client‑facing experience with complex global accounts.
• Strong leadership and team‑management track record.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Relevant telecom/fraud/analytics certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Core network elements: HLR, HSS, MSC, IMS, SMSC, GGSN, PGW, IN, OCS, Mediation, Billing.
• Roaming & interconnect: TAP files, NRTRDE, IRSF, interconnect bypass.
• Fraud tools: Subex ROC (or equivalent FMS), rule tuning, threshold management.
• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Exposure to AI/ML‑based fraud detection models.
