Legal Manager

About the role

We are preparing a leading Kuwait‑based group for a listing on Boursa Kuwait. The Legal Manager will be the senior legal voice, reporting directly to the Chairman and board, and will own the legal function throughout the IPO process and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all corporate and governance workstreams related to the IPO, including entity restructuring, board and shareholder documentation, compliance with CMA Kuwait and Boursa Kuwait listing requirements.
• Draft, negotiate and manage commercial agreements across Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, such as supplier contracts, technology licences, partnership structures and expansion deals.
• Provide regulatory advice to senior leadership across GCC jurisdictions, manage external counsel relationships and collaborate with Compliance and Internal Audit on the governance framework.
• Act as the primary legal advisor to the Chairman and board, translating legal risk into actionable business decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum ten years of experience in corporate or commercial law, either from a top regional/international law firm or an in‑house role at a listed or complex operating company.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently without a senior legal layer, making decisions under pressure.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; deep knowledge of the Kuwaiti market; GCC experience is a strong advantage.
