Logistics Analyst – OCONUS Team

About the role

GDIT is recruiting a Logistics Analyst for its OCONUS team supporting the mission of 1st TSC MSS. The analyst provides vital logistic support, manages customer logistics requirements and works closely with the G4 cell, the Theater Support Command GCSS-A Sustainment Cell and coalition partners. The role is scheduled for 40 hours per week, with overtime after the first 48 hours, and requires meeting CENTCOM medical and deployment standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, organize, plan and administer provisioning, spares, maintenance and repair activities
• Help develop and implement distribution policies and procedures, and support DRMO operations
• Track equipment loans, maintenance costs and customer data, and run weekly logistics research and trend reports
• Improve Requisition Wait Time and double-handling, and recommend improvements to logistics policies
• Produce Excess Management Metrics Reports and wait-time metrics, and prepare executive-level briefs, FRAGOs and PowerPoint presentations
• Assist in exchange pricing, supply closure, and support MDMP and crisis planning
• Coordinate logistics with USCENTCOM, USARCENT, DLA and AMC, and act as a subject matter expert
• Generate and manage Form 1-3a in AGATRS, maintain historical files and document libraries, and provide financial analysis

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years' experience, or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• Active Secret security clearance and ability to obtain it
• 2+ years of logistics and supply chain experience at brigade level or higher, and within USCENTCOM AOR
• Active US passport
• Ability to meet CENTCOM medical and deployment standards

Required skills

• GCSS-A, GFEBS, FCM, LIW, ASEIP, SAAS-MOD, SQL and MS Office (SharePoint)
• Knowledge of retail and wholesale supply systems at strategic level
