Management Associate, Operational Risk Management

About the role

The Management Associate in Operational Risk Management will support the organization in monitoring, analysing, and reporting operational risk events. This role works closely with business units and finance to ensure accurate loss booking and timely follow‑up on risk mitigation actions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and document operational risk events.
• Manage operational risk incidents from identification to resolution.
• Coordinate with business teams to manage losses and ensure proper booking.
• Reconcile operational losses with the finance department on a monthly basis.
• Support Business Risk Champions in identifying and challenging root‑cause analyses.
• Track and follow up on action‑plan implementation within agreed service‑level agreements.
• Prepare and present reports for management review.
• Provide analysis of incidents and loss management.

Required profile

• Demonstrated capability to manage operational risk incidents.
• Ability to work with business units to handle loss booking.
• Experience reconciling operational losses with finance.
• Supportive approach to Business Risk Champions in root‑cause analysis.
• Strong follow‑up skills to ensure action‑plan implementation within SLA.
• Effective reporting and analytical abilities.
