Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist

About the role

Sagest Capital Management & Advisory is seeking a Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist to join its team in Kuwait City. The specialist will support the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities across the firm’s target markets, ranging from pre‑seed to growth equity and buyouts.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market and financial analysis for potential deals.
• Perform detailed due diligence on target companies, assessing commercial, operational, legal, and financial risks.
• Prepare valuation models and investment memoranda for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on negotiations, deal structuring, and SPV management.
• Coordinate with advisors, counterparties, and track deal pipelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute strategic recommendations for buyouts, growth investments, and exits.

Required profile

• Experience in low‑mid market buyouts (full acquisition or majority stakes) in Kuwait.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex financial and market data.
• Solid finance and investment background, including valuation and capital‑structure knowledge.
• Rigorous due‑diligence capabilities across commercial, operational, legal, and financial dimensions.
• Fundamental accounting knowledge for financial‑statement analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field; CFA, CPA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple transactions in a fast‑paced environment.
