About the role

The Sales Representative for Paints and Building Materials will work full‑time on‑site at our Shuwaikh store, greeting customers, understanding their needs and recommending the right products. You will be the main point of contact for quotations, order processing and after‑sales support, helping to drive store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers, providing product recommendations for paints, coatings and building materials.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and coordinate with the warehouse to confirm stock availability.
• Maintain product displays, labeling and accurate sales records.
• Answer inquiries, give basic technical information and handle cash or electronic payments.
• Follow up with customers, support promotional activities and collaborate with the store team to meet sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proven sales abilities, including closing deals, upselling and cross‑selling.
• Ability to train and support new staff and follow sales procedures.
• Willingness to learn technical details of paints, coatings and building materials.
• Basic numeracy and computer skills for billing and inventory checks.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle moderate product movement.
• High school diploma or equivalent practical experience; retail or hardware experience preferred but not mandatory.
