Network Administrator – Kuwait (On-site)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to manage and optimize our organization’s network infrastructure in Hawally, Kuwait. The role involves independent handling of design, implementation, and maintenance of networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure Cisco switches and manage wireless networks.
• Maintain IP telephony systems and routing, internet, and other connections.
• Monitor, optimize, and tune network performance to ensure security, stability, and high availability.
• Analyze logs and alerts proactively to prevent outages and resolve issues.
• Establish and maintain backup and recovery procedures for all network devices.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and service records.
• Participate in ITIL‑based incident, change, and problem management processes.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for escalation, troubleshooting, and SLA compliance.
• Support disaster recovery planning and conduct periodic network failover testing.
• Implement network security controls such as ACLs, segmentation, and patch management.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and assist in remediation.
• Maintain accurate inventory of network hardware, software licenses, and related assets.
• Provide technical training and guidance to junior IT staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• CCNA certification (required); CCNP (Routing & Switching or Security) preferred.
• 4–5 years of hands‑on experience in network administration.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Strong computer proficiency.
