Operations / Factory Manager – Detergent Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations / Factory Manager to provide consultancy for a new detergent manufacturing project. The role starts as a part‑time remote engagement, with the potential to evolve into a long‑term position overseeing the full plant setup and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the design, installation and start‑up of a detergent manufacturing facility.
• Recommend appropriate production lines, machinery, and optimal factory layout.
• Advise on raw‑material selection, product formulations and production processes.
• Assist in sourcing suppliers and equipment manufacturers.
• Drive improvements in production efficiency, product quality and cost optimisation.
• Share industry best practices for scaling operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a detergent, cleaning chemicals or home‑care manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of liquid detergents, powders, fabric softeners, dishwashing liquids or related products.
• Background in factory operations, production management or process engineering.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Specific experience in a detergent division is mandatory.
