Operations Manager – Defense Services (Kuwait)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Operations Manager to lead and optimise the operational systems of our defence services business in Kuwait. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will combine day‑to‑day management with strategic planning to ensure smooth back‑office functions, vendor relationships and compliance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily business operations and identify opportunities for process and infrastructure improvement.
• Anticipate operational and tactical risks, proposing strategic solutions to mitigate them.
• Manage cross‑functional activities including business analysis, vendor management and risk management.
• Lead long‑term planning, project status reporting and change‑control processes.
• Collaborate with back‑office, transition and onboarding teams to ensure seamless execution and high morale.
• Validate information and conduct reasonableness testing before presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, internal teams and external vendors.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry regulations, trends and technology relevant to the defence sector.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Operations Management, preferably in defence or government contracting.
• Currently residing in Kuwait.
• Valid Kuwait driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
• University degree.
