Operations Manager - Retail & Food Sector

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead our retail and food business across multiple branches in Kuwait City. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, optimise supply‑chain processes and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of supermarket and hypermarket branches, including staff and logistics coordination.
• Implement waste‑reduction initiatives and strategies to improve sales efficiency.
• Monitor and enforce HACCP and other food safety and quality control protocols.
• Analyse sales reports, identify bottlenecks and optimise workflows across locations.
• Manage inventory storage, handling and distribution in line with industry standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager in the supermarket or hypermarket sector.
• Deep knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• Strong leadership abilities to manage multi‑branch teams and logistics.
• Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret sales data and drive process improvements.

Required skills

• HACCP certification or demonstrated expertise.
