About the role
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) works on the 2nd Floor Rehab unit during night shifts (6:30 pm – 7:00 am). The primary function is to assist patients and families with basic care, hygiene, and monitoring while acting as a compassionate member of the care team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care and hygiene assistance.
- Monitor patients and report observations to the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure complete care.
Required profile
- Willingness to work flexible night hours.
- Good organization, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn and apply new healthcare‑related skills.
- Proactive problem‑solving and anticipation of patient needs.
Required skills
- CPR certification (provided by employer).
- Basic healthcare skills training (provided).
