Payroll Manager

About the role

The Payroll Manager will lead the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries, benefits, and deductions while aligning payroll strategy with overall HR objectives. This role collaborates closely with ICT, finance, and senior leadership to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement payroll and personnel administration policies in line with company standards and labor laws.
• Oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing, including off‑cycle runs, benefits enrollment, and insurance documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee records, attendance, leave, and termination data.
• Coordinate with ICT teams to implement payroll system features and automate tasks, ensuring data entry accuracy.
• Prepare payroll reports, monitor variances, and present KPIs to management.
• Negotiate with third‑party benefit providers and resolve related issues.
• Assist in budgeting for Compensation & Benefits and monitor budget adherence.
• Lead and develop the payroll team, delegating responsibilities and conducting performance appraisals.
• Support broader HR functions such as recruitment and talent management when needed.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and labor regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing payroll operations and leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and payroll best practices.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, ICT, and senior leadership.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
