Planning Engineer - KOC Soil Remediation Project

About the role

Khalid Ali Al Kharafi & Bros. Co. is looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to support project planning, scheduling, monitoring and progress control for the South Soil Remediation Project in Kuwait. The position is full-time and lasts 9 months.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
• Prepare project progress reports and schedule updates.
• Coordinate with project teams to collect and verify progress data.
• Identify schedule delays, critical activities and potential project risks.
• Support project planning, forecasting and recovery planning.
• Ensure project activities are properly planned, sequenced and monitored.
• Maintain accurate planning and project control records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in project planning.
• Previous experience with KOC projects or major oil & gas projects in Kuwait.
• Experience working in a construction or project environment.

Required skills

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience with Primavera P6, including valid training and certification from a recognized provider.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, monitoring and progress reporting.
• Good understanding of construction planning and project controls.
• Analytical, coordination and communication skills.
