Planning Manager – Electrical (Power Plant)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager – Electrical to lead scheduling and progress monitoring for Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) projects. The role involves developing baseline schedules, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring timely delivery of electrical engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Electrical Project Baseline Schedule using Primavera P6.
• Create detailed WBS, activity networks, logic relationships, milestones and critical paths.
• Plan, monitor and control electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities for CCPP/Power Plant projects.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, Commissioning and Project Management teams.
• Track planned vs. actual progress, prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and S‑Curves.
• Identify critical and near‑critical activities and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor electrical material procurement, delivery, installation and testing schedules.
• Analyze delays, prepare recovery schedules and support EOT/delay analysis documentation.
• Conduct regular schedule review meetings and provide accurate project completion forecasts.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years dedicated planning experience in CCPP/Power Plant projects.
• Previous role as Planning Manager or Senior Planning Engineer – Electrical.
• Strong experience in electrical project planning and scheduling.
• Excellent knowledge of Primavera P6 and critical path analysis.
• Proven ability in progress measurement, delay analysis and recovery planning.
• Strong knowledge of project controls and reporting.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Immediate availability preferred.
