About the role
Marriott International is seeking a skilled plumber to join its engineering team in Kuwait City. The role involves fixing minor plumbing issues, installing and maintaining pipe systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Unclog drains and resolve minor plumbing problems.
- Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings; cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles.
- Fill pipes or fixtures with water or air to locate leaks.
- Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to plan installations.
- Install and maintain pipe assemblies, valves, appliances, and fixtures.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
- At least 2 years of related plumbing experience.
- Stationary Engineer/Boiler Operator License and Plumber Certification.
Required skills
- Pipe assembly and installation.
- Leak detection using water or air pressure testing.
- Blueprint and building code interpretation.
- Pipe cutting, threading, and bending.
- Valve and fixture installation.
