Plumbing & Fire Fighting Inspector

About the role

Egis Group is looking for a detail‑oriented Plumbing & Fire Fighting Inspector to join its Kuwait team. You will conduct thorough inspections of plumbing and fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and safeguarding public safety.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, fixtures and related components for code compliance.
• Examine fire protection systems such as sprinklers, alarms, emergency exits and suppression equipment.
• Analyse findings, identify violations or safety hazards, and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Communicate results to owners, contractors and facility managers and maintain organized records.
• Collaborate with contractors and engineers to resolve issues and perform follow‑up inspections.
• Stay updated on Kuwait building codes, plumbing and fire safety regulations.

Required profile

• Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing and fire safety codes and standards.
• Proven experience conducting plumbing and/or fire safety inspections.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections efficiently.

Required skills

• Familiarity with inspection software and digital documentation tools.
• Technical documentation and report writing proficiency.
• Knowledge of local Kuwait building codes and regulations.
