Pre‑Sale Electrical Engineer – Sales Support

About the role

We are looking for a precision‑focused Pre‑Sale Electrical Engineer to provide sales support for a leading trading and engineering company in Kuwait. The role involves technical compliance, estimation and close coordination with international manufacturers to secure successful project bids.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse complete tender documents, project drawings and technical appendices.
• Compile accurate Bills of Quantities by listing all items from project scopes.
• Coordinate with international manufacturers to verify specifications, capacities and lead times.
• Prepare detailed technical submittals, compliance statements and technical proposals.
• Attend technical clarification meetings with clients to support the sales process.
• Identify and report missing critical fields or technical risks early in the bidding cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in pre‑sales, technical estimation or system integration within the electrical trading or contracting sector in the Gulf region.
• Currently residing in Kuwait with a transferable visa (Article 18).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict project deadlines.

Required skills

• Interpretation of electrical single‑line diagrams and schematic drawings.
• Preparation of Bills of Quantities.
• Technical submittal and compliance statement preparation.
• Technical estimation and tender document analysis.
