Purchasing Officer (F&B Experience)

About the role

The Purchasing Officer will manage the sourcing, buying and timely delivery of goods and services essential for the company’s food and beverage operations. The role aims to secure high‑quality products at competitive prices while maintaining optimal inventory levels and strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, reliability and service.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate prices and prepare purchase orders.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate purchases with department heads.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases and documentation.
• Verify that all purchased items meet company specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with receiving and stores to ensure correct delivery and documentation.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, shortages, delays or discrepancies.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food and beverage purchasing.
