Purchasing Supervisor

About the role

Our Habitas is seeking a detail‑oriented, proactive Purchasing Supervisor to manage procurement operations for its Ras Abrouq resort. You will ensure timely sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of high‑quality goods and services that keep the luxury desert experience running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily purchasing activities for all resort departments, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality, cost‑effective, and reliable solutions.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
• Process purchase requests, obtaining all required approvals in line with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate forecasts with department heads, and prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Ensure all purchased items meet brand standards, quality specifications, and operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and documentation for audit and reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance to track budgets, control costs, and ensure financial compliance.
• Coordinate with Receiving and Stores to verify proper inspection and delivery of goods.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining quality and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality or resort procurement, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple department heads.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Understanding of budgetary controls and compliance requirements.
