QA/QC Supervisor – Fabrication & Welding (Full‑Time, 1 month)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified QA/QC Supervisor to lead quality assurance and control activities for an upcoming structural fabrication and welding project in Fahaheel, Kuwait. The position is full‑time for a one‑month fixed‑term contract, focusing on ensuring compliance with fabrication and welding standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation such as Inspection Notifications (IN), Fit‑Up Reports, Visual Inspection Reports, and welding records.
• Coordinate with client representatives and workshop supervisors to avoid communication gaps and work stoppages.
• Develop welding procedure specifications (WPS), procedure qualification records (PQR) and conduct welding qualification tests (WQT).
• Perform stage‑wise inspections during fabrication and welding, including pre‑welding, in‑process, and post‑welding checks.
• Monitor welding parameters (amperage, voltage, travel speed) to ensure adherence to approved WPS.
• Conduct 100 % visual inspection of completed welds and classify discontinuities according to ISO 5817 and AWS standards.

Required profile

• Valid QA/QC certification.
• Proven experience in structural fabrication and welding inspection.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication quality control procedures and welding standards.
• Ability to prepare and interpret WPS, PQR and WQT documentation.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with clients and workshop teams.
