Radiology Specialist

About the role

American Hospital Clinics is seeking a full‑time Radiology Specialist to join its multidisciplinary team in Doha. The specialist will perform and interpret a wide range of imaging studies, ensuring high‑quality diagnostic support for clinicians and a safe, patient‑centered experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform X‑ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine examinations following clinical protocols.
• Review patient histories, select appropriate imaging techniques, and acquire accurate images.
• Generate clear, timely radiology reports for referring physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and nursing staff to guide diagnostic and therapeutic decisions.
• Maintain strict radiation safety and infection‑control standards.
• Participate in quality‑assurance programs and workflow optimization.
• Educate patients about procedures and promote a positive care experience.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Radiology (or equivalent) and licensure eligibility in Qatar.
• Extensive experience in hospital or clinic imaging environments, preferably high‑volume settings.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning, attention to detail, and ability to produce concise reports in English.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence‑based practice.
